Robert Robertson Sr.

Robert William Roberston Sr., 84, of Old Legislative Road, Frostburg, died Sunday, December 12, 2021 at his residence. Born on February 5, 1937 in Barton he was the son of the late James Joseph Robertson and Bertha Katherine (Broadwater) Robertson.

He was preceded in death by five siblings.

Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Army Reserves. He retired from CSX Railroad where he was a pipefitter. He enjoyed traveling and sightseeing with his wife and family.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Linda Robertson; four sons, Robert Jr. and wife Kelly of Frostburg, David of Piedmont, WV,  James and wife Billie Jo of Keyser, WV and John and wife Shanon of Frostburg; ten grandchildren, Eric, Josh, Kayeanna, Jeremiah, David, Darlene, Nakita, Jeremy, Wesley and Evan; great-granddaughter, Claire and numerous other great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Wilt of Clinton, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 4PM-6PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating.
