Harold Robert Lashbaugh, 72, of Frostburg and formerly of Lonaconing, died Saturday, April 22, 2023 at UPMC Western Maryland, Cumberland. Born on May 9, 1950 in Keyser, WV he was the son of the late John William Lashbaugh Jr. and Eileen Mary (Scott) Lashbaugh.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christina Marie Lashbaugh, his brother, William Lashbaugh, brothers-in-law, Marshall Hadley and Bob Thuss.

Harold was a 1970 graduate of Valley High School. He worked at Gehauf’s Restaurant for 18 years before working for Cyber Rep. He enjoyed cooking and baking and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a member of God’s Ark of Safety, Frostburg.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Carol (Thuss) Lashbaugh; his sister, Sherry Hadley; sisters-in-law Cindy Lashbaugh and Nancy Rankin and husband Bob; brothers-in-law, Larry Thuss and wife Bilinda and Kenny Thuss and wife Shelly and numerous nieces and nephews including special nephews, David Hadley and Todd Hadley and wife Kellie and special niece Sarah Sine and husband John.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Everett Spence officiating.
