Carolee (Cameron) Crawford

Carolee Crawford, 81, of Waterstation Run Road, Lonaconing, died peacefully in her home with her family at her side on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Born on April 20, 1940, she was the daughter of the late James A. Cameron and Eleanor L. (Phillips) Cameron.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles “Dick” Crawford Sr on December 13, 2013 and her siblings, James Cameron, David Cameron and Betty Anne Llewellyn. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Carolee loved the spring time, especially the flowers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and treasured their time spent together.

She is survived by her children, Sherry (Crawford) Schriver and husband Donald “Donut” of Winchester, VA and Charles “Chuck” Crawford Jr. and wife Michelle of Lonaconing; three grandchildren, Bernie Bittinger and wife Denise, Kristy Schriver and Hunter Crawford and girlfriend Brooke Hawkins; three great-grandchildren, Kaylee Weidlich, Allie Bittinger and Aiden Smith; special cousin and best friend, Mary Snyder “Little Betty” and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 3 PM-6PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Thomas Morgan and Pastor Shawn Shumaker officiating.
