Wilma Beeman

Wilma Jean Beeman, 91, of Temperance Row, Barton died Tuesday, February 27, 2019 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland. Born on October 29, 1927 in Lonaconing she was the daughter of the late James G. McGee and Jessie C. (Miller) McGee.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph J. Beeman, two sons Jeffery Beeman and James Beeman, grandson Jamie, brother Alex and three sisters Bess, June and Alice.

Jean was a graduate of Central High School. She loved caring for her grandchildren, reading, dancing and genealogy.

She is survived by three children Joseph Beeman and wife Veva of Short Gap, WV, Wilma Jean Crider and husband Scotty of Florida and John Beeman and Kim of Barton; daughter-in-law Alice Beeman of Barton, eight grandchildren Jessica, Crystal, Laura, Jack, Adam, Chasity, Felicia and Klarissa; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters Catharine Whiteman and Nonie Leaker and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service will be held at Green Cemetery, Lonaconing.
