William Egerton

William Egerton was escorted by his guardian angel through heaven’s gate on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Bill was the youngest child born March 30, 1946 of Howard Millburn Egerton and Marie Dorothy (Serra) Egerton, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his sister and brother, along with his special friend Joseph Archer.

He leaves behind his good friend, George Gordon, and his extended family Joann Metz and her family; as well as the many loving caregivers who felt fortunate to share his life.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.
