William Conley

William Franklin Conley, 65, of Castle Hill Road, Lonaconing died Friday, December 30, 2011 at his residence. Born on March 9, 1946 in Baltimore he was the son of the late Henry Conley and Gertrude (Kasel) Conley.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Timothy.

William was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He spent 23 years as a delivery driver for the Maryland News Distributing Company, Baltimore.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Irene (Ravenscroft) Conley; three sons, George, Michael and John and wife Stephanie and six grandchildren. He is also survived by four sisters, Doris, Kathy, Sharon and Karen; one brother, Michael; a very special sister-in-law, Adrienne Ravenscroft and several nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home P.A. ( www.eichhornmckenzie.com ), Lonaconing on Monday, January 2, 2012  from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Thomas Morgan. Interment will be held at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone. Military rites will be accorded by the combined Honor Guard Post #13.
