Weston Wayne Bittinger

Weston Wayne Bittinger, just 16 months old, passed away on August 25, 2025, at WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on March 30, 2024, in Cumberland, Weston brought immense joy and light to those around him during his short, but deeply cherished life.

Weston was the beloved son of Cassie Bittinger and Jason Tantlinger. He was a treasured little brother to Caleb, Annaleigh, William, Isaac, Kaden, and Paisley. His bright spirit also touched the lives of his grandma, Hope Zais and her partner Kevin. He was adored by his aunts and uncles, Brittany and partner Devin, Alexis and fiancé Dylan, Brandon and partner Kylie, Makenzie, and Makinna.

Though his time here was brief, Weston’s presence left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He had a joyful love for watching Bluey and Barney, shows that never failed to make him smile. His fascination with motorcycles brought excitement to his days, and he delighted in every moment spent playing outside, or at the park.

Weston now joins those who went before him, his grandfather, Ruben “Buck” Bittinger, great-grandparents, Orrie “Butch” Zais Jr. and Charlotte Zais and uncle, Jaxson Smith.

May the memory of Weston Wayne Bittinger bring comfort to all who loved him, and continue to shine brightly in their hearts.
