Viola O. Beeman, 89, of Midland went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January
18, 2011. She closed her eyes here on earth, and opened them to see
Jesus. Viola was a true Christian and a member of the Frostburg Church
of the Brethren, and made sure her children went to Sunday school
every Sunday morning. She taught Sunday school at the Midland
Methodist church for many years. She had a stroke in 1967 that left her
partially paralyzed on one side, suffered arthritis, congestive heart
failure, and never complained; she always had a smile on her face. She
will be truly missed.
Born Feb 17, 1921 in Avilton, she was the daughter of the late Harold and
Ruby (Green) Layman. She is also preceded in death by her husband
Odell in 1999, and brothers, Harold Layman, John Layman, and Robert
Layman.
Surviving are her five children, Patricia Dixon, Frostburg, Thomas
Beeman and wife Mary, Midland, Richard Beeman and wife Margaret,
