Thomas “Tim” Connor, 105, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Allegany Health Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born on August 31, 1920 in Lonaconing, he was the son of the late Robert Connor and Marion (McKinnon) Connor.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia Agnes (Bradley) Connor on June 27, 2009. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Tim was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Lonaconing. He spent many years as a school bus driver before opening and operating a hardware store, from which he retired. He was a great golfer, an avid reader and he especially enjoyed a good crab cake. He was a very kind man.

He is survived by his extended family, Kleopatra Lakel, Mary Lakel and his best pal, Athena Manherz and special friends, Janine Parsons and son, John Parsons.

At his request he will be cremated and inurned at Frostburg Memorial Park. Mr. Connor is in the care of Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing.
