Terri Lane Michaels

Terri Lane Michaels, 63, of Pekin, died Friday, January 30, 2026 at her residence. Born on December 6, 1962 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Michaels and Donna Lee (O’Haver) Michaels.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kayla Parish. Terri was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Terri Michaels, better known as Grandma or Gma, always loved to spend time with her two grandkids. They were her pride and joy in many ways, and will forever have multiple core memories with them. Gma was an amazing human being with a huge heart. That’s something she will always be remembered for.

One of Grandma’s favorite things to do was garden! She loved and took so much pride in taking care of it, to her they weren’t just flowers they were a hobby, something to yearn and care for as her own. But what she loved most from that was having her grandson, granddaughter, daughter, and son-in-law sit down or pose in front of all her flowers, get on a big old smile and say cheese. Gma loved her family with all she had and we all loved her to the moon and back. She deserved the universe and every planet in it. We love you Grandma, till the end of time.

Terri leaves behind her two very beloved grandchildren, Korbyn Izeha Parish, and Kyndall Leigh Parish; a son-in-law, Rickey Parish of Martinsburg, WV and many other loved family members and neighbors, including two special cousins, Vivian and Tammy.

A graveside service will be held at Laurel Run Cemetery, Moscow Mills at a later date.
