November 28, 1946 — August 29, 2013

Sally Kay Miller, 66, of Henry Drive, LaVale died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Devlin Manor, Cumberland after a four year struggle with a head injury.  Born on November 28, 1946 in Cumberland she was the daughter of the late David Evans, Sr. and Jean (Shaw) Evans.

Sally was of the Presbyterian faith.  She was hairdresser and had worked as a beauty school instructor.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gilbert Miller; her daughter, Tiffany Darr and husband Joseph of Frostburg; two grandsons, J.B and Evan Darr; one brother, David Evans, Jr. and wife Marilyn of Cumberland and two nieces.

Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Larry Trail officiating. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Cumberland.

At the request of the family memorial donations may be made in Sally's memory to Mental Health America, Attn: Gift Office, 2000 N. Beauregard Street, 6th Floor
Alexandria, Virginia 22311.
