Sarah Cesnick

Sarah Elizabeth Cesnick, 76, of Paradise Street, Midland died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland. Born on November 9, 1941 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Leo Kenney and Edna (Loar) Kenney.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Fonce Kenney and a sister, Ann Mills.

Sarah was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Midland.  She was a graduate of Beall High School and she had worked in the dietary department at Frostburg Village Nursing Home.  She was a member of the Midland Sportsmans Club.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Eugene Cesnick, Sr.; a son, Eugene Cesnick, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Midland; two granddaughters, Amanda Clark and husband Sam and Olivia Cesnick; three great-grandchildren, Braxton, Samantha and Kellen Clark; two sisters, Ellen Whetstone and Edna Fair; three brothers, Mike Kenney and wife Margie, Ed “Doc” Kenney and wife Kay and Paul Kenney and wife Linda and numerous nieces and nephews.

At her request she will be cremated and no services will be held. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Midland assisted the family.
