Rosalie Florence Moore, 86, of Elklick Road, Gilmore died Monday, July 11, 2016 at her son’s residence in Hedgesville, WV. Born on November 1, 1929 in Lonaconing she was the daughter of the late William Edgar Likens and Nettie (Elkins) Likens.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, Dewey Calvin Llewellyn, Vernon Whiteman and William Moore and eight of her siblings, Viola McCulty, Anna Beeman, Catherine Llewellyn, Betty Fazenbaker, Henry Likens, Joe Likens, Bob Likens and Charles Likens.
Rosalie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Frostburg. She retired as a meat wrapper from Foodland in Westernport.
She is survived by her two son, Dennis Calvin Llewellyn and wife Elizabeth of Hedgesville, WV and Terry Wayne Llewellyn and wife Agnes Marie of Hagerstown; two grandchildren, Melissa Llewellyn-Dittman, Dennis Wayne Llewellyn and wife Kelly Lynn; great-grandchildren, Andrew Dittman, Kierstyn Dittman and Hayden Llewellyn; three step-children, Gene House and wife Sandy, Debbie Smith and husband Tom and Robin Wiegand and husband Jim; two sisters, Shirley Benson and husband Pete of Rawlings and Gay Spiker of Frostburg; close friends, Gladys and Bill Snelson of Longstretch and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 10:00AM with Jeffrey Alderton officiating. Interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
