Mr. Roger U Green Sr,(Pete) age 77, of Amherst , Ohio , passed away Wednesday July the 28th 2010 .

Born near
Westernport , Maryland , Mr. Green was the son of the late Elbert Wilbur Green and Genevieve Emma McKenzie Green.
He served in the US Army at the end of the Korean War.  Mr. Green worked for 12 years at Koppers Steel Company in Baltimore , Maryland before relocating to Cleveland , Ohio in 1971 where he worked as a foreman with Cleveland Plastic Films for 25 years.

He was a member of
Detroit Ave Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing and playing bluegrass gospel songs, many of which he wrote himself.   Mr. Green was an avid garage sale enthusiast and was a regular vendor at Jamie’s Flea Market in Amherst , Ohio for over 30 years.

Mr. Green is survived by Mildred Green, of Amherst, Ohio;  son, Roger Jr. and wife Diane of Spring Hill, TN;  son Richard, of Quincy, FL; daughter, Laqueta and husband Bruce Conklin of Rancho Cordova, CA; 3 grandchildren, Trevor, Sara, and Amanda;  sister Catherine Wilson of Baltimore, MD;  Eleanor  Trenum of  Westernport, MD;  Peggy Hutcheson of Lonaconing, MD;  Emily Webb of Ellerslie, MD; brother Elbert (Bert) Green  of Oldtown, MD;  Walter Green, of Midland, MD.  Also surviving are brother-in-law Robert Trenum, John Webb and Robert Hutcheson; Sister-in-law Suzanne Green, Carol Green and Patricia Green. Two adopted grandaughters Shuntia,and Alexandra Conklin,also a step daughter Belinda and husband Steve Bognar   and three step grandchildren  Chris,Nikki,and Andrew Borgnar

Mr. Green was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Regina Green; father Elbert Wilbur Green; beloved mother Genevieve Emma Green; son Ronald Allen Green; brother Alvin Cecil Green; brother-in-law Donald Reynolds Wilson; niece Jennifer Anita Wilson Linns.

A graveside memorial service will be held  at
Bloomington Cemetery , Bloomington , MD on August 14, 2010 at 11:00 am.
