Ray Robertson, 87, of Railroad Street, Midland, died Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Frostburg Nursing and Rehab. Born on June 8, 1939 in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Dee Robertson and Dolora (McKenzie) Robertson, and the grandson of the late Rhoda McKenzie.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, and a sister, Maryland Beeman.
Ray was a 1957 graduate of Valley High School and veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. He retired as a salesman from Wilson Supply. He enjoyed puzzles, bowling, and taking pictures, he had albums full. He also loved his many years of volunteering locally at Westernport and George’s Creek Elementary Schools, and the hospital.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Carol Ann (Dye) Robertson; two daughters, Trina Benson and husband Carl, and Amy Green and husband David; four grandchildren, Katie Wilson and husband Jordan, Ben Benson, Charlie Clise and Skylar, and Beth Clise; two great-grandchildren, Camden and Harper Wilson; two sisters, Sonya Foote and husband Bob, and Johna Wilson and husband Roke, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Midland Methodist Church. Mr. Robertson in the care of Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A..
