Phillip N. Lease, 68, of Alamogordo, New Mexico passed away on May 2, 2015 as a result of a car wreck.
He was born in Midland, Maryland on October 3, 1946. His parents were Norman L. Lease and Nancy M. Lease. Phil spent his younger years in Midland, Maryland and graduated from Valley High School, Lonaconing Maryland, in 1964. Following graduation he moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts where he pursued a career with the Massachusetts telephone company.
After retirement, he moved to Alamogordo, New Mexico to live with his mother, Nancy. He was a faithful son who cared for his mother during her time of illness and death on January 16, 2015. At the time of his death, he belonged to a writing club and was in the process of writing a novel. He is survived by three uncles and various cousins.
A memorial service for Phillip and mother Nancy will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, Midland, Maryland, on Thursday,11:00 AM, December 10, 2015, with Rev. Harry R. Jenkins, a first cousin, presiding. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing assisted the family.
