Nancy M. Lease, 89, of Alamogordo, New Mexico passed away January 16, 2015, after a brief illness.
She was born in Greenville, Texas, on July 14, 1925, to Charles and Lia Spradling. She married Norman L. Lease of Midland, Maryland in 1943. The couple lived in Midland from 1945-1994. After her husband’s death in 1992 she moved to Alamogordo. Nancy worked at the Liberty Bank of Maryland attaining bank management from 1957-1975.
Nancy was an active member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Midland.
At the time of her death, she was survived by her son Phillip, three brothers, Chaplain David E. Spradling, Orville Spradling, and Hubert Spradling. She was preceded in death by husband Norman, brothers Charles and Gordon.
A memorial service for Nancy and son Phillip will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, Midland, Maryland, on Thursday,11:00 AM, December 10, 2015, with Nancy’s nephew Rev. Harry R. Jenkins presiding. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing assisted the family.
