Michael Edward Wilhelm

Michael Edward Wilhelm, 69, of Frostburg, died Thursday, November 7, 2024 at UPMC Western Maryland, Cumberland. Born on October 2, 1955, he was the son of Matilda Wilhelm and the late Ray Wilhelm.

Mike was a graduate of Valley High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked for Heritage Coal. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Jessie Wilhelm; five children, April, Josh, Michael, Lottie and Danielle; three step-children, Alicia, Shawna and Jarrett; many grandchildren including, Austin, Abby, Tristin, Krystin, Meredith, Alex, Kira, Kyler, Nakota and several others; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna Wilhelm; a brother, Danny Wilhelm and wife Gloria; numerous nieces and nephews and his favorite dog, Chase.

Michael is in the care of Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. He will be cremated at his request.
