Marvin "Huck" Shockey

Marvin “Huck” Shockey, 87 of Lonaconing, died Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center, Lonaconing. Born on September 24, 1934, he was the son of the late James E. Shockey Sr. and Ellen Adaline Shockey.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Shockey, son, Daniel Shockey, brothers, James E. Jr., Leroy and Calvin Shockey and a sister, Evelyn Poland.

Huck was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving for 29 years.

He leaves behind one sister, Donna Smith and husband John “Jake” Smith and a brother, Gary Shockey and wife Darlene Shockey, his grandson, Lane Shockey and numerous nieces and nephews.

At his request he will be cremated and inurned at Mt. View Cemetery, Moscow Mills. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing is assisting the family.
