Marshall Hadley

June 19, 1955 — October 16, 2017

Marshall Alan Hadley, 62, of Douglas Avenue, Lonaconing died Monday, October 16, 2017. Born on June 19, 1955 he was the son of Lois (Marshall) Hadley and the late Robert Todd “Jake” Hadley.

He was a 1974 graduate of Valley High School and attended the Vocational-Technical School for auto mechanics. He was employed by Closetmaid, Grantsville. Marshall was a lifetime member of the Good Will Volunteer Fire Department #1 Lonaconing where he had 41 years of service. He was also a lifetime member of the Allegany County Fire Police and a member of the Lonaconing Republican Club.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years Sherry (Lashbaugh) Hadley; two sons David Alan Hadley and Todd William Hadley and wife Kellie; two brothers Gary Hadley and wife Sharon of Lonaconing and Steven Hadley and wife Theresa of Melbourne, FL; two uncles Rev. Dr. Joseph Hadley and wife Betsy of Denver and Bob Scott of Lonaconing;an aunt Dorothy Ann Clarke of Bloomfield Hills, MI; a brother-in-law Harold Lashbaugh and wife Carol of Lonaconing and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 6-9PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A memorial service will be held at 7:00PM by the Good Will Volunteer Fire Department #1 Lonaconing and the Allegany County Fire Police.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1:00PM with Rev. Heerak Kim officiating.  Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilhelmeakin.com .

At the request of the family memorial donations may be made in memory of Marshall to the Good Will Volunteer Fire Company at 6 Douglas Avenue, Lonaconing, MD 21539.
