Louisa W. Holsinger, 97, of Frostburg died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Frostburg Village Nursing Home. Born on May 20, 1918 in Eckhart she was the daughter of the late Henry E. Weisenborne and Louisa R. (Nelson) Weisenborne
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold J. Holsinger on February 1, 2013.
Louisa was a member of the Frostburg United Methodist Church and a graduate of Beall High School. She retired from Potomac Edison where she worked in the accounting department.
She is survived by a nephew, Larry Gunter and wife Judith of Chestertown, MD and their children, Jeffrey Gunter of Arnold, MD and Victoria Bockmiller and husband Phillip of Church Hill, MD and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
At her request she was cremated and there will be no services. Inurnment will take place at Porter Cemetery, Eckhart. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Midland (www.wilhelmeakin.com) assisted the family.
