Jo Ann Thompson entered heavens gates on January 26, 2016, welcomed with a big party held in her honor by her special friends Clara, Susan and Gertie. She will be solely missed by all her friends and family, whom she leaves behind, who dearly loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew Floyd and Margarete Thompson and Sister Lillian of Olney, Maryland. Along with her special friends and housemates, Susan Mitchell, Gertrude Shoemaker, and Clara Wheeler.
She had eight siblings, James, Margarete “Peggy”, Andrew, William, Beverly, Ann Marie, Loretta and Lillian.
She also leaves behind her best friend and housemate Irene McLaughlin and all her loving caregivers who loved her to the moon and back.
No more pain or suffering for you little lady, you have a new body, and you’re enjoying your new heavenly home. Praise be to God!
Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 1:00PM with funeral service and committal to follow at 2:00PM with Rev. George Loar officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.
