Jo Ann Spiker

Jo Ann Spiker, 77, of Jackson Run Road, Lonaconing, died on Friday, August 22, 2025 at UPMC Western Maryland. Born on December 15, 1947 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Ida Spiker.

She was also preceded in death by her four brothers, Carl, Jimmy, Bobbie and Tommy; as well as two of her sisters, Nancy and Mary.

Jo Ann was a graduate of the Valley High School class of 1966 and a long-time member of the First Assembly of God, Lonaconing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, riding in their 1966 Chrysler Newport to car shows and making crafts.

Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 58 years, David A. Spiker Sr.; her children, Johna Klingler and husband Audie, David Spiker Jr, and Mindy Judd and husband Corey; her grandchildren, Brittany Gardner, Brianna Howard and husband Jimmy and Zachary Judd and great-grandchildren, Jakob and Maddie. She is also survived by her older sister, Betty Moses and husband Charles; sisters-in-law, Shirley Spiker and Cindy Spiker; brother-in-law, Donald Bray and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 7-9 PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Pastors Don and Linda Webb officiating. Interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Barton, MD.
