James Owen Skidmore, 70, of Locust Grove Road, Cumberland, died Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at his residence. Born on July 25, 1951 in Cumberland he was the son of the late Tessielean (Matthews) Skidmore and step-father Patrick Skidmore.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothea Michaels and Janie Raynor.
He is survived by nephews and nieces, Donald, Tommy, Pat, Lennie, DJ, Becky and Chucky. He is also survived by his friend, Tim Mencer, who was like a brother to him.
At his request he will be cremated and inurned at Mt. View Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
