Hannah Lamberson

Hannah Isabel Lamberson, 87, formerly of Pershing St., Lonaconing died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center, Lonaconing. Born May 9, 1924 in Gilmore she was the daughter of the late Thomas C. Wilson and Rebecca (Lancaster) Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Lamberson  on June 2, 1998 and her brother, Thomas Raymond Wilson.

Hannah was a 1942 graduate of Central High School and attended the First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her son, Charles T. Lamberson and wife Barbara of Lonaconing and her daughter, Linda R. Gibney of Hagerstown, MD; four grandchildren, Shane T. Lamberson and wife Janell of Lonaconing, Betsy A. Evans and husband James "Bo" of Frostburg, Beckie Everly and husband David of Hagerstown and Jessica Preston also of Hagerstown; seven great-grandchildren, Bayleigh, Rhegan and Taylor Lamberson, Riley and Lance Evans and Josh and Nick Fazenbaker.

Family and Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home P.A. ( www.eichhornmckenzie.com ), Lonaconing on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 2-4 PM with the funeral service immediately following at 4:00 PM with the Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating. Interment will be held at Mt.View Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

The family would like to thank, from the bottom of their hearts, the RN's, nurses aides and staff of the second floor of the Egle Nursing Home for all the love and care they have given Hannah for the last twelve years.
