Gloria "Glo" Emma (Neat) Green, 82, of 90 Douglas Ave passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the Egle Nursing and Rehab Center, Lonaconing surrounded by her family. Born December 8, 1928 in Barton she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Brown) Neat.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon "Mose" Green, Sr. in July 26, 2004. Gloria has gone to join him in hillbilly heaven, where they will be listening to Hank Williams songs, because "Mose" was a loyal fan. Also preceding her in death was one sister and three brothers.
Gloria lived life for her family, baking homemade rolls, whipping up potato salad and all kinds of desserts. Known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as Ma Glo, she always had time for them when they came to visit. She loved to crochet and make ceramics and hardtack Christmas candy. Gloria attended the Barton Alumni dinner every year. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Lonaconing.
Surviving are her two sons and daughter-in-laws, Harry and Jolie Green of San Antonio, TX and Vernon "Lanny" and Judy Green of Lonaconing; three grandchildren, Christy Kidwell and husband David, Jessica Hamilton and husband Jamie and Asa Wells Parker; six great-grandchildren, Landen, Logen, Larissa and Lexi Hamilton and Grayce and Ryleigh Kidwell; three sisters, Rose Mary Neat, Phyllis Pericas and Carolyn Schaller.

), Lonaconing on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 3-6 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Harry Burchell officiating. Interment will be held at Green Cemetery, Garrett County.
