Evelyn Louise (Robertson) Brown, 97, of Lewis Heights Drive, Cumberland died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland. Born on January 21, 1916 in Lonaconing she was the daughter of the late Henry David Robertson and Jean (Anderson) Robertson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Brown on November 21, 2000.
She was a member of the Barton Presbyterian Church, Barton and a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, William S. Brown, Jr. of Cumberland, Henry Malvin Brown of Florida and David James Brown of Cumberland; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held the Barton Presbyterian Church on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing. Arrangements were handled by Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing (www.eichhornmckenzie.com).
