    He was one of seven brothers who served his country proudly. While in the Navy he served aboard the USS Caloosahatchee and the USS Suribachi. He was a former employee of the Celenese until it closed then he served his community as a health care provider with the Allegany County Health Dept

    He was an extremely talented Musician and could play anything with strings. He played in numerous Gospel groups thru out the years. His proudest accomplishment was his harp playing.
   
  
  
  
  
   
    He was a former member of the Central Assembly of God in
   
   
    Cumberland
   
   
    and a long time member of Bethel Pentecostal Holiness of Lonaconing .
   
  
  
  
  
   
    Ernie never met a stranger and will be missed by all of his coffee drinking buddies at Wal-Mart

    but mostly by his long time friend Jason Shomper of

    In the past few years Ernie had become an avid painter and enjoyed sharing his art work with friends and family. He was a kind hearted person and has left a deep hole in the hearts of family and friends.
