David Darr

David “Punky” Wayne Darr, 53, of Lonaconing died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at his residence. Born on October 31, 1963 in Keyser, WV he was the son of the late Roger Darr and Vitalis E. (Henry) Darr.

He was preceded in death by twin sisters Mary Lea Darr and Marie Lynn Darr,  a brother James Darr and brother-in-law Bob Walker.

Punky had served in the U.S. Army and worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by his daughter Samantha Darr of Florida; three grandchildren of Florida; six siblings Virginia Walker of Keyser, WV, Jeanne Burley and husband Gary of Cumberland, Margie Broadwater of Lonaconing, Kathy Lee and husband Bobby of Barton, William Darr of Mechanicsville and Roger Darr of Lonaconing; special friend Lois Whetstone and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 3-5PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5:00PM.
