Chimera Hohing

December 10, 1932 — September 6, 2013

Chimera Hohing, 80, of Butterscotch Ct, Winchester died Friday, September 6, 2013. Born on December 10, 1932 in Tuskeegee, Alabama she was the daughter of the late Algie Smith and Jessie Ola (Guthrie) Smith.

She was preceded in death by her brother and sister, Lane Bufford and Barbara Maher.

Chimera retired from the United States  Federal Government.

She is survived by her husband, William Hohing II; a daughter, Valerie Linn of Gainesville, FL; a  son, William Hohing III of Virginia; two grandchildren, Alana Linn of Charlotte, NC and Gabriel Linn of Gainesville, FL; one brother, Bowling Bufford of Connecticut and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing on Monday, September 9, 2013 from 6-8PM.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Fred Iser officiating. Interment will be held at Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
