Barbara Haggard

Barbara Ann Haggard, 72, of Main Street, Lonaconing died Friday, August 2, 2019 at Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing. Born on August 24, 1946 in Lonaconing she was the daughter of the late William Hadley and Kate (Gannon) Hadley.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband O.N. “Butch” Haggard on September 2, 2018.

A 1964 graduate of Valley High School, she furthered her education at Catherman’s Business School. She had previously worked at Braddock Medical Group in the billing department. She was Catholic by faith.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey Haggard and wife Lisa of LaVale; brother Brian Hadley and wife Melissa of Hagerstown and their daughter Chloe and several other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.  Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing handled the arrangements.
