Mary Evelyn Cannon, 86, of Warnick Road died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland. Born in Gilmore on October 12, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Charles H. Beeman and Martha "Mattie" (McKenzie) Beeman.
 
Mary was catholic by faith and member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, Midland. She was graduated of Central High School and had worked for Montgomery County as a maintenance worker.
 
She is survived by her three daughters, Gail Drew and husband Ernie of Gilmore, Mary Moyer and husband Paul of Midland and JoAnn Everett of Gilmore; five grandchildren, Rebecca Drew, Charlene Everett, Jennifer Benson and husband Mike, Chuck Everett and Lynda and Michael Everett and Tina; five great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Bella, Savannah, Sheldon and Shantell; one sister, Martha A. Kerr of Gilmore and one nephew, Joseph B. Kerr. She also leaves behind her special friend, Baby Girl, her beloved dog.
 
 
At her request she was cremated and a service will be held at a later date. Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Midland (www.eichhornmckenzie.com) handled the arrangements.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family. I only met her a few times but knew Gail and Mary very well. I know she will be missed but she is in Heaven looking down and watching over all of her loved ones. Rest in Peace Mary.
